What we collect
- A host's email address, used for login and for sending receipts.
- Player display names typed in when claiming a square on a board.
- Board and game data: the matchup, price per square, payout split, claimed squares, and quarter results.
- Basic usage logs, like which pages load and general error information, used to keep the service running.
What we never collect
ClaimMySquare never collects or stores payment card data. Payments for the board hosting fee are processed by Stripe directly, we never see or touch card numbers.
Where player data lives
A player's own display name and any personal stats they view stay in that player's browser on their own device. ClaimMySquare does not build a separate player profile beyond what is needed to show that player's claimed squares on the board they joined.
Third parties we use
- Stripe processes payments for the board hosting fee.
- ESPN public score data supplies live game scores for real NFL and college matchups.
- Brevo sends login and notification email.
- Vercel hosts the website and application.
- Turso stores the application's database.
Cookies and local storage
ClaimMySquare uses cookies and browser local storage to keep a host or player signed in and to remember which boards a device has already joined. These are functional, not advertising, cookies.
Data retention
Board and account data is kept for as long as an account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for receipts and support. You can request deletion at any time.
Requesting deletion
To request deletion of your account or board data, email beharris234@gmail.com from the email address on the account. We will confirm once it is done.
Children's privacy
ClaimMySquare is not intended for anyone under 18 years old, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
